Following our Annual General Meeting on June 17, 2026, we are pleased to welcome three new members to the Central Counties Tourism Board of Directors.
Representing York, Durham, and Headwaters, our Board is comprised of tourism and business leaders who volunteer their time, expertise, and industry knowledge to help guide the organization’s strategic direction and support the growth of tourism across the region.
Board members serve terms of up to three years, with the option to renew for a second term. Their leadership and insight help ensure our programs, services, and investments continue to meet the evolving needs of tourism stakeholders and strengthen the visitor economy.

Our 2026/27 Board of Directors includes 17 voting members and two non-voting members, including Provincial Ministry Advisor Aruba Ahmed and TIAO representative Carol Greenwood.
We look forward to working with our Board over the coming year as we continue supporting a strong and vibrant tourism industry across York, Durham, and Headwaters.
