2026-2027 Partnership Program

All other streams are now closed for new applicants.

The Central Counties Tourism Partnership Program is an annual matching-funds program designed to financially support stakeholders in building capacity and driving growth in the visitor economy.

Success for Central Counties Tourism is continual growth in economic impact from visitors to our region – those who travel 40+ kilometres (one-way) to spend money in a community they neither work nor live in. To achieve this, we focus on supporting our stakeholders – from owner/operators to municipal and regional partners – by providing tools that help them build their capacity and understanding of how to attract and retain visitors to not only to their locations, but to their communities.

The Partnership Program is open to tourism business, organizations, and event organizers within the regions of York, Durham or Headwaters to support their tourism-focussed projects. All projects and events must occur within our regions during the period of April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027 to be considered.

1. There are four project streams for partnership support:

  • CCT Partnered Projects
  • Destination Development Projects
  • High Impact Festivals & Events
  • Tourism Marketing Support

2. Only one intake period, with a deadline of April 30, 2026*, for Destination Development and High Impact Festivals & Events streams.

Applications for the Tourism Marketing Support stream will continue an ongoing basis, with applications being reviewed monthly, until the funds are exhausted.

3. New funding limits per stream.

  • Up to $25,000 in matched funds for CCT Partnered & Destination Development Projects
  • Up to $10,000 in matched funds for High Impact Festivals & Events
  • Up to $2,000 in matched funds for Tourism Marketing Support
