Organizations that meet requirements for Sector grants will be invited to complete Step 2 of the application, with a December 2, 2026 deadline.

Administered by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Sector Grant stream is designed to strengthen the capacity and resilience of Ontario’s non-profit sector. The program may be of interest to sector-serving organizations, associations, municipalities, destination organizations and other non-profits working to address shared challenges and opportunities across the sector.

Funding ranging from $50,000 to $300,000 annually is available for projects lasting between one and three years. Eligible projects may focus on sector capacity building, improving data collection and knowledge sharing, or strengthening access to diverse funding opportunities across Ontario’s non-profit sector.
