Administered by the Whitby Tourism Development Corporation, the Host in Whitby Grant Program provides financial support for events and activations that drive visitation and strengthen the tourism economy in the Whitby. The program supports both new and existing initiatives that enhance Whitby’s profile as a vibrant, inclusive destination.

Funding of up to $5,000 is available to eligible organizations hosting tourism-focused events in Whitby. Priority is given to projects that attract visitors from beyond the local area, demonstrate strong community and economic impact, and foster inclusive, accessible experiences. The program also encourages collaboration across the local tourism sector and supports events that build community pride and cultural connection.
